The End of Blogspot days!

Sadly this blog is now rather defunct. Apologies if Mr. Wood has sent you here expecting a show. I've updated the links properly, just enjoy the archive as it was meant to be! Lots of love to the people still flying by this page though. However, if you are just flying by, add me on either! Many good fortunes to you!

Multimedia-um And The New Theme

To commemorate the holidays and keep the spirit of the Blog flowing, i've got a little selection of Goodies for you! One of every media (I might start making this a thing, tell me what you think). So yes, you'd be right in assuming that's be a Picture, A Video and A Track, or let's just call it PVT for short, eh?

First of, a picture that, has frankly made me howl with laughter and has thus earned the Background slot.
Y'know all those sentimental quote images, that have serene backgrounds, which seems to add to the quotes applicability and credibility? Yah, it's one of those.

Beware, it's slightly vulgar.
If that's not enough artsy shtick for you then try this website out. I have no idea where she gets her images from, but she has a really sweet theme on her Tumblr page and some very nice images, check her out here:

It really is a lovely theme

Now you're warmed up we'll move onto the video section of the post: It's a game trailer about a new movie called Dead Island. It's another typical Zombie game with a storyline that should be as good as Dead Rising. I won't ever buy it, or play it, or watch someone else play it because, it WOULD scare the current crap out of me and any future craps i may have, so no thank you. Anyhoo,
it's phenomenally dark and prolific but it's editing is undeniably brilliant:

And now last, but my no means least is a track from a great series of television, named House. Mr. Dajani and i happen to be great fans, and we hope to one day alter the mindset of a certain Mr.Wood over his affections towards the show> Haven't actually watched this video, I've just listened to the music and it's frankly one of my favorite tracks ever, i dare say, so without further adieu, here it is:

Okay, so there we go, new theme commorated. Woo-Hoo.
See you guys soon!

WWW. Woah, What a Week

Once upon a time the was a girl named Asiral, she was lived in a place named Iabud, it was a magical place where all creeds and colours communed and coexisted together. Asiral liked Iabud, she could be herself out there. She was a serene being, she enjoyed Scrabble and combing her hair. Asiral collected sea shells, every day she would go out to the beautiful shores of Iabud to collect the "Perfect Shell" for her beloved. Her beloved was a stunningly handsome young man, he was intelligent and charming. He made Pattenson look like a paedofile. An ugly shines-in-the-light paedofile. Some say his smile would sparkle like a solar system, and that his eyes gleamed like the Aurora Borealis.
This man was something, and that something was called Jos.
(Jos didn't like Seashells, but he pretended to enjoy them because he was unsure if Asiral was simple or not)
Asiral and Jos would meet everyday for class, where they studied a subject of imaginable importance, it was crucial to the world economy and was taught by Mr. Wilson Obadiah Olivier or M.Woo as they all called him, who had an impeccable taste in ties. The subject was I.C.T. (Incredibly Cool Technology), and was only studied by only the most gifted of students.
Their work tired them out, and so did Asiral's efforts to conceal her affections for Jos, and her jealousy over the swathes of women that swooned over him. So upon the weekend, Asiral and Jos attended the same party, however this was no normal party.
Rumours of the party had been encircling the college for weeks ahead, some said, that the party would contain a new and mythical substance called Calcohol, apparently Asiral was unfamiliar with this substance, which lead her to being unaware of her limits. The street-smart Jos knew his own limits with the notorious substance, and so arrived at the party, just one hour after Asiral.

That was a mistake. With a combination of Asirals burning sexual desire and the absence of Jos's guiding hand she consumed quantities of Calcohol usually reserved for industrial distilleries.

When Jos arrived at the party, fighting his way through the crowds of awestruck girls clamoring for his kisses, he spotted Asiral getting into some trouble. She was attempting manouvers only reserved for Las Vega's finest, and i don't mean their police force. I mean strippers. Asiral. Strippers. Asiral....
Jos was both bemused and worried for her, however, she seemed experienced and in control, despite the fact that she kept calling Jos, Josh. I mean really?! Who does that?!
Jos promised to keep an eye on her for the evening, as he felt sorry for her, and her cleft pallet, but at one point he had to slip away to pee.
Asiral took this opportunity to slip away herself, to gain access to the most exclusive room in the house, the banned room, for for short, the Bed-Room.
It was a room covered in diamonds and gold, it was expensive beyond comprehension so Asiral was sick all over the bed. Later she told Jos that the bitch (whose house it was) deserved it and she was glad she did it.
When Jos had stopped peeing, he found that it was too late, and she'd already made a fool of herself, so he left the party that night with 8 beautiful Parisian models and thought about checking on her in the morning.
The next day Asiral rang Jos first and apologised profusely about how silly she'd been, and begged Jos not to write on his online diary.
Jos, like a real man accepted her apology but advised her to stay away from Calcohol for a while, as it made Asiral do bad things.
As Asiral walked upon the beach, golden sand stroking her toes, she thought of Jos, and how wonderful he was, and wished they could be together someday, if she could only find the "Perfect Shell" to earn his affections with.

The moral of this story? Buy a pretty shell and fill it with sand. Don't ponce about the beach like a one-eyed Sherlock Holmes, searching for a crusty bit of sea scrap.

iContact

To be honest, i don't know how we left this weekend alive, or even intact. I never believed in the power of friendship until that night, it acted as the fibers that held our sanity together.
Larissa and I had the shared experience of witnessing an evil so powerful and soul crushing. One might say it would crush your soul. We only survived, but barely.
It all began on the night of Georgia's Party at which we both happened to attend, it started well, with joyful laughter and gaiety everywhere. There was a refreshment counter and shwarma's being handed out. The atmosphere first seemed like a serene area of joy to be had, how wrong we were.
After mingling round the occasion spotting Mr Dajani and exchanging words, the night took a dark turn. It came to be, that my best friend, and girl friend, had decided to deprive me of eye contact for an entire 10 minutes. After having their terrible secret revealed to me under the justification that it was funny, a spiraled out of control, madly pleading and craving their sweet retinal influence. I began to search the party for any and all sources of Eye-Love, bleating my story to every man that would listen, selling my eyes away like a cheap prostitute. It was then that i came to feed from Larissa's Green Gateways. It was there, i saw it, the mutual hunger, the lack of sight oriented nutrients. She too, was suffering the same punishment, she too felt a wound without comparison, she too, was being deprived of eye contact. And so, together, we scrambled through the next few minutes, vying for each others mental piece of mind, making and breaking deals with he devil just to make the time pass faster.
Eventually, the moment came and we were released from deaths grasp, or so we thought. I was to be punished for an extra 13 minutes.
This was the final blow, my crippled mind and shrunken heart could take no more, if it were not for the kind-hearted strong spirit that is Larissa. She scraped my shattered ego together and held me strong, whilst simultaneously shrugging off her own eye oriented afflictions.
Alas, the punishment was over and i retrieved all contact that was lost, and my wounds healed, but the scars will remain forever.
My pain has faded, but i fear that Larissa's shackles of neglect were never broken, and that she still carries this burden and pushes forward.
And for that she is a true hero.
We salute you.
Gosh, hyperbole is fun!

The Animated IT Blog

Ohh, yes, the title does not deceive! It's true this relatively small-scale Blog, that and previously been neglected is back on form again, stepping into the drawn dimension! It's good to expand your skills. Except into murder. That's always bad..
Enough idle chit-chat, here's a minute and a half of narcissism..

New Year, Fresh Input

So, as most of you are probably aware it's now 2011, if you weren't, then welcome, you have to celebrate New Years later than everyone else now, it's only fair.
Anyhoo, i've missed Blogging, so i thought i'd get back into it and try to re-live the glory days of CPUsed to it.. However i doubt those days will return as i'm too lazy to dream up whimsical problems! But in order to salute the previous year i thought a Blog post might be in order. I have no idea what's happened this year and what happened last year (as this is a re-write, because frankly what was written here before was embarrassingly constructed. It looked like the assembly of six foreign writers who'd stuck their stories together using Google Translate)
So, this is just filling in the crap blank, until a third re-visit where i can actually put something intelligent down and worth reading. For the meantime though, these will have to do, as their good writers and they write more frequently than i do:

Popularity Contest

I thought it was time for another fun post, and so, well here we are.
After browsing through each others Blog statistics, Larissa and I have decided to enter into a little friendly competition. Y'know, just a little game WHICH I WILL WIN. Where both of us have to see how many profile views we can get.
Admittedly, she has a headstart of ooh say around 100, but do not be disheartened, small group of loyal fans. We have deft wit and beautiful content, whereas she has the spelling of a dyslexic cockney ;)
(It's okay, it put a wink-face at the end of it)
So, i guess this is a plea to all the aforementioned "Small Group Of Loyal Fans", to post free and wild. With abundance around the internet, my URL! Now, go crazy my pretties, tell me of your progress!! Mwhaahahhahaa!!
You can access Larissa's Blog Here
The competition finishes in two weeks. 10.11.10
